Colourful Porcelain Salt Pig and Spoon
Every salt pig is thrown on the wheel and then altered by hand at the leather hard stage to create this beautiful shape; it comes with its own spoon built by hand and glazed in the same colour.
Designed to be used both by the cooker for adding salt whilst cooking, and also on the table during mealtimes, they make a practical but beautiful gift for a new kitchen, new home or keen cook.
Glazed inside in one the Harlequin range of 8 glazes, with the outside left unglazed and sanded back to a soft finish; giving a contrast in colour and texture.
Each salt pig and spoon is made individually resulting is slight variations in size & shape, as can be seen in the images, so dimensions are approximate::

Salt Pigs are suitable for use in the dishwasher; but the spoons should be washed by hand.
Please note that every piece of Penny Spooner Ceramics is made entirely by hand by me, resulting in slight variations in pieces, but the quality remains consistent. This is the beauty of handmade artisan ceramics.
