Thrown on the wheel in fine black stoneware from a batch of experimental pieces and shapes in this new material to my studio.
Once leather hard pinch points were added to the sides making them lovely pieces to hold and use. Glazed inside and partially outside in Orchid white, gives them a simple, rustic appeal.
Please note that because these cups don’t have handles they are not suitable to very hot drinks.
