This bottle vase in the perfect shape for displaying a few stems from the garden, with the closed in shape at the top supporting the flowers.

I have thrown this piece on potters wheel in fine porcelain and turned it to a smooth finish. After the first firing it has been sanded back to a lovely soft smooth surface. It has been clear glazed inside with the top dipped in Water Blue from the Watercolour Collection, making it a lovely colourful piece.

The combination of glazed & unglazed surfaces gives a lovely contrast of both colour and texture.
